The OrthoScan mini c-arm design allows for an orbital rotation of 150°. This enables the user to take advantage of the larger field of view without making mechanical adjustments required by competitive equipment. The increased orbital movement enables preferred views without stressing anatomy.
Located on the bottom of the tube head, these surgical lights provide additional illumination on the anatomy and eliminate shadows cast from the C.
Conveniently located on each side of the tube head assembly, bilateral controls provide easy access to imaging and documentation in the sterile field.
With FD-OR, fine details of relevant anatomy are visible due to the increased grayscale and contrast capability of flat detector technology. The FD-OR reduces the distortion inherent with image intensifier technology, improving diagnostic accuracy.
Flat detectors provide increased image quality, improved reliability, and more efficient imaging compared to older image intensifiers. The flat detector’s more direct signal conversion path results in uniform image brightness and less geometric distortion. The solid state detector provides more reliability, no image degradation due to vacuum leaks, and reads more of the individual x-rays, providing a better image quality for a given dose.
The FD-OR mini c-arm is both lighter and smaller than competitive equipment. User-driven design allows optimal positioning and transport with minimal effort. The smaller size facilitates ease of movement that improves maneuverability.
